3" NH / NST / NPSH Gasket (5-Pack)

Description

Replacement rubber gaskets are for female fire hose couplings or adapters. These gaskets will fit National Hose thread "NH", National Standard Thread "NST" or National Pipe Straight Hose "NPSH". These gaskets are known as face gaskets or swivel washers.
Connections: These replacement gaskets will fit brass or aluminum female fire hose couplings or adapters with NH / NST or NPSH threads.
Note - 3" NH / NST is very rare and is often mistaken in place of 2 1/2 inch NH / NST. When measuring, always try to measure the male coupling! The majority of customers who order 3" NH / NST need 2 1/2" NH / NST. If you have a fire department connection, hose, or an adapter, check the female coupling for numbers or letters. Most 3 inch hoses use 2 1/2" NH / NST couplings. The most common threads in the United States in 2 1/2" NH /NST.
The outside diameter of a 2 1/2" NH / NST male hose coupling or fire hydrant is 3.06 inches. The outside diameter of a 3" NH / NST male hose coupling or fire hydrant is 3.62 inches. The outside diameter of a 2 1/2" NPT or NPSH male hose coupling is 2.84 inches. The outside diameter of a 3" NPT or NPSH male hose coupling is 3.47 inches.
